Imperial advances renewable diesel plans

Imperial has announced a long-term contract with Air Products to supply low-carbon hydrogen for Imperial’s proposed renewable diesel complex at its Strathcona refinery in Alberta. The faciliy is expected to produce 1 billion liters per per year.

USDA forecasts US soybean production at 4.38 billion bushels

The USDA released its latest Crop Production report on Sept. 12, predicting a 1 percent decline in soybean production when compared to last year. Expected yields are down when compared to both last month’s estimate and last year’s yields.

CIM Group acquires MAS Energy’s RNG development platform

CIM Group has acquired 100 percent of the RNG development platform of MAS CanAm LLC, an affiliate of MAS Energy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of landfill gas-based RNG in the U.S. and Canada. The platform will be renamed Terreva Renewables.

California drivers embrace renewable diesel from Rodeo refinery
